Friday2 Novembrer 2018 2-5 PM
Tavistock Centre (room to be confirmed) – London

The New Directions in Systemic Psychotherapy Group is an international group of systemic practitioners seeking to develop new and in-between approaches to contemporary practice. They are primarily interested in the work of Bateson, Maturana, Varela, Von Foerster, Deleuze and Guattari and Foucault. They also make connections with writers such as Donna Harraway, Marilyn Strathern, Tim Ingold, Eduardo de Viveiros de Castro and Paul Rabinow.

In this seminar Pietro Barbetta, Maria Nichterlein, Maria Esther Cavagnis, Umberta Telfener and Britt Krause will present ideas
about how these authors may inspire therapeutic practice in systemic psychotherapy. This will be followed by a general discussion and debate with the audience.

We are very pleased to invite you to this free event and hope to generate a lively debate. For further information and to book a place contact Britt Krause (bkrause@tavi-port.nhs.uk – Tel.: 020 8938 2590. Room 219)
